As of January 2008 Park Studio is now known as Platform Music.

Basingstoke's number 1 live music venue is playing host to The Platform as of Tuesday 9th October.

The Rhu Bar (London Street, RG21 7NT) is taking over as the regular venue to The Platform after 2 successful years at Sleepers Wine Bar.

The first of the weekly acoustic nights will see Andy Allaway, Zoe Croune, Face in the Crowd & Joe Johnson kick start the first of many great artists who will be appearing at our new home.

This night will also be launching The Platform acoustic album featuring some of the best artists to have performed at both Bracknell and Basingstoke acoustic nights.

Due to the success of the platform at Sleepers Wine Bar in Basingstoke, We are pleased to be bringing a fresh new Acoustic night to the Cellar Bar at South Hill Park, Bracknell.

The platform launch night is on the 12th October with Even After, Southdrive, Grey Matter and Lisa Fitzgibbon.

On the 26th October we will be featuring Billy Irvine, Jim Cuthbert and Hils.

The platform will take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every Month.

Damon Sawyer (Park Studio) and David Golding (www.dxsmedia.co.uk) have teamed up and are Joint managing the band Edison.

Edison have been recording their debut album here at Park Studio.

They currently have 3 tracks completed which have been mastered at Abbey Road, London. The forthcoming album "Admiration not obsession" is just a short time a way.

Just to keep you up to date our battle of the bands winners "Wire Jesus" are currently mixing their EP. Also Ian Todd's new Album on Parkside Records will be released around February 06. Feat. some excellent vocals from Jewels, as people would have seen recently at the popular Platform Acoustic nite at sleepers Basingstoke. A Big Thank you to all the Artists who have already performed there.

As if it wasn't enough to go back to a classic analogue sound....now we have introduced an even bigger and better Analogue desk. We decided to compare three classic desk's and came to the conclusion our new DDA AMR 24 best suited our needs and is highly regarded in many top studios around the world.

A fresh new act from London. Jamie and Liam started recording their debut Album at the Studio this month. The Album is being Produced by Damon Sawyer and we hope to have some MP3's on the site early 06. Watch this space!
